It’s sinking in that I am actually doing this, actually leaving. And soon!

I’ve spent the last two weeks with a Farewell email open in drafts, collecting email addresses of people far and wide who have impacted on me in a positive way in the last seven and a half years at my company. I am so very lucky to have met some of the smartest, funniest and most unique people I can imagine. I have been inspired, pushed to grow and challenged by many and I wanted to say Thank You!

With Gratitude

In 8 days time I will have my final day at a big corporation (for now) for a while. This has been a spectacular journey with ups, downs and corkscrew spirals of excitement, drama and learning. The past is looking a whole lot better as my sense of awe and gratitude is kicking in and I can see all the silver linings, the benefits and the learnings. The future is looking scary and exciting and the present it finally feeling at peace with myself. Closure for my actual daily work is happening as I hand off the final analytical data and closure from a people perspective, to be able to thank those who’ve been a part of it. It has really made that teary eyed-ness of farewelling into being.

So Thank-You to everyone who’s been a friend, a co-worker, a mentor and a challenger to my growth (this I also hold that so very highly). I would not be who I am today without your input into my life and the future would be a whole lot bleaker without your contagious happiness, teachings and influence.

Thank you xxx
